Ars Nova is thrilled to present this wonderful children's musical Gertrude McFuzz October 15 -17 at Nova Theatre. The classic Dr. Seuss story of the girl-bird who learns to like herself just as she is is presented in a wonderful & lively musical style by Robert Kapilaw combining jazz, pop, and classical influences. Directed by high school student Demi Vanderwerff, the musical teaches self-acceptance and how to overcome envy & jealousy. Kapilow's "fanciful score uses a variety of instrumental timbre to evoke the story's images."
