Linda MIxon has generously donated funds for these awards that honor music theory students who have high scores on the National Music Certificate Music Theory Examinations. These students took the exams in May, 2010. Ars Nova wants to thank Linda Mixon for supporting our efforts to promote excellence in music theory, and is proud of our students who performed so well on the examinations. Also, we commend their music theory teachers, Gloria Ko and Marlene Brown, for their dedication to prepare them so well for the examinations.
